Pinewick is about calm and presence. Lighting a candle, letting the room settle, and taking time where you are. We hope our candles bring a sense of warmth, grounding, and quiet comfort into your home.
Hand-poured candle crafted to bring stillness, depth, and quiet intensity into a space. Designed for reflective moments and low light, this tin delivers a steady, grounding burn with an atmospheric but controlled scent throw.
Each Pinewick tin candle is made in small batches using thoughtfully developed fragrance blends and a soy-based wax formulation. The burn is clean and even, releasing scent gradually—present, layered, and intentional.
Scent profile:
Gunpowder opens with cool air and a faint brightness of sheer citrus and vanilla, moving into black pepper, patchouli, and muted floral notes before settling into a dark base of gunpowder accord, black musk, and oakmoss. The result is mineral, smoky, and restrained—evoking spent embers, cold steel, and quiet resolve.
Details:

Subtle variations in wax color may occur due to natural fragrance components. This does not affect performance.
Our candles are designed to create a calm, grounding atmosphere, and a little care helps them burn beautifully. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface and never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets, children, curtains, or anything flammable.
Before each burn, trim the wood wick to approximately 1/8"–3/16". A properly trimmed wick helps maintain a steady flame, reduces soot, and allows the candle to burn more evenly. If the flame becomes too large or uneven, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, and trim before relighting.
The first burn helps set the rhythm of the candle. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first use to encourage a smooth, consistent burn over time.
To preserve the experience and vessel, we recommend enjoying your candle in slower sessions of around 3–4 hours before allowing it to cool completely.
For the best experience, burn your candle away from fans, open windows, or strong airflow. Drafts can cause uneven burning, excess flickering, or an irregular wax surface. A calm environment allows the candle to burn more evenly and consistently.
Discontinue burning when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning beyond this point may cause the container to overheat. Allow the candle to cool fully before handling or relighting.
